In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Plant City; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Florida are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

We had driven here from Wesley Chapel because we heard this buffet was better than the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel Asian Buffet. Sadly, this meal was very underwhelming. The ambiance and service good which bumps it up from a 1-star. The food is very lackluster and the buffet itself was much smaller than I expected. With the smaller amount of options, I expected everything to be fresh and well-prepared. Crab legs did not look clean and did not taste fresh. Wasabi was not very spicy and had a strange pasty texture compared to other restaurants - seemed very old. The jello was tough - which means it was old. The desserts we tried were all very dry and/or very stale, except for the coffee cake/crumb cake. I feel bad that I brought my family to celebrate Fatherβs Day here. If you do want to eat here, get the steak hibachi, sushi, with crumb cake and ice cream for dessert. The cooled Chinese dishes are hit and miss - for example, the teriyaki chicken was good but hibachi chicken was dry. The fresh fruit and cold bar is not fresh or tasty, so pass on those items. Also, sadly, pass on the crab legs and Cajun boil. Although some food was decent, I was not full when leaving nor was anything on t

We ordered pickup on UberEats. My fiancΓ© went in to pick it up. He went up to the guy at the counter letting him know about the name of the order. The worker just pointed in a direction and said "it's over there." There was no utensils like chopsticks; so we stood waiting for him or anyone to come back. He ended up haveing to go around the counter and found 1 pair. We ordered crab rangoons, but it came without any souce. The food we got was warm and tasted good. This was out first time and the customer service was not existent.

We went for first time... it was good. They have a lot of rolls/sushi; hot food was tasty, rolls were laid out separately cut whichballows for it to dry out... looks nice, but somewhat dry. Our waitress was right there for us, place was very clean and big. Price of buffet was very reasonable. Will be going back. Yes, there are signs about leaving excessive food on your plate, and sitting longer than 90 minutes, but come on, any person with a little respect and common decency will be alright eating here!!!

This restaurant was large and tastefully decorated. We came in for lunch and was pleased with the food and cleanliness. There was a nice variety of Chinese and Japonese foods including Sushi and Sashimi. The only issue was the food wasn't hot! I told the owner on the way out and he went to check the temperatures.

My first time going to a buffet in years, and it was decent. I was surprised by the sushi being apart of the buffet so I did enjoy that. The atmosphere was good and the attendants were attentive. The buffet was clean and didn't look sloppy. The food wasn't scorching hot, but was warm enough. I was expecting more of a selection from the remainder of the buffet, but it had the basics that you're used to. Price wasn't too bad I guess, but I think the last time I went to a buffet years ago it was like $11 lol but it is 2025 now.
